Around a large campfire, in the Espace DesPrés park (or at St-André Church in case of rain), Alex Nevsky presents Tout ce que l’aube promet, an intimate and sensitive performance, accompanied by cellist Julie Dessureault. After the contemplative experience of De la beauté, he returns to the sung stage with a new repertoire, his instrumental pieces and a few signature pieces. This musical offering seeks to provide a suspended moment, a reconnection with nature and the living world, in a spirit of gentleness and sharing. With special participation by the local choir.

Biography

Alex Nevsky is a Quebec singer-songwriter who came to public attention with De lune à l’aube (2010) and has won multiple ADISQ awards, notably for Himalaya mon amour (2014). An artist sensitive to humanity and the beauty of the world, he has enjoyed continued success while renewing his approach. After De la beauté (2023), an instrumental show focused on contemplation, he returns in 2025 with Tout ce que l’aube promet, an intimate and luminous album. For this project he collaborates with cellist Julie Dessureault and develops performances in direct connection with nature and the living world.

Approach

Alex Nevsky weaves a connection between song, poetry and nature. His current approach emphasizes slowness, contemplation and presence to the living world. With spare arrangements for piano and cello, he seeks to create listening spaces where music becomes refuge, breath, and invites reconnection.
