The Barn
At the heart of DesPrés, the barn welcomes artists in creation within a space that is sober, open, and lived-in. A repurposed former agricultural building, it preserves the memory of the site while supporting contemporary practices.
It houses two fully equipped studios, adapted to a wide variety of disciplines: dance, theater, visual arts, writing, and performance. Both studios also allow for the practice of circus arts and aerial disciplines thanks to rigging systems.
Bathed in natural light and open to the landscape, the barn offers a working environment conducive to research, experimentation, and dialogue with the living world.
The Cultural Meadow
The cultural meadow is an open space where art and landscape meet. Visitors can stroll through it, discover artworks, attend events, or simply take the time to be outdoors, following the rhythm of the place.
Throughout the seasons, artistic projects take shape in the meadow—installations, in-situ interventions, and moments of encounter—in dialogue with the land and its ecosystems.
A place of passage and gathering, the cultural meadow invites everyone to explore, slow down, and take a fresh look at what surrounds us.

Here is the development plan for the meadow created by Emmanuelle Tittley, a landscape architect from Sutton.
Since 2016, we have been working to create trails, install monumental sculptures, and host artistic projects of all kinds. The work is spread over several years, slowly allowing a true open-air museum to emerge.

Rental
The barn and its studios are also available for rent for artists wishing to work for one or two weeks. It is also possible to rent the studios by the day for the local community, mainly on Sunday mornings and afternoons. The room must be returned in the same condition it was found.
