Approach

Jessie Mill – At the invitation of DesPrés, a week of reading, writing, walking, and conversations about living things, in collaboration with a curator.

A Short Treatise on Intersectoriality – For an Ecosystemic Thought is a personal and committed essay in which Patrick Moisan explores the urgency of moving beyond interdisciplinarity to embrace true intersectoriality — a fusion of knowledge, sectors, and practices in the face of our era’s crises. Influenced by thinkers from Bruno Latour to Donna Haraway, as well as the libertarian movement and natural ecosystems, the essay advocates for ecosystemic thinking where resource sharing, non-linear creativity, and the artist’s role become essential levers. The residency will allow the author to deepen and structure this ambitious writing project, halfway between an intellectual manifesto and an act of introspection.
