Un Canot d’écorce à Greenfield Park tells the story of a man in search of meaning and courage, haunted by the myth of the coureurs des bois. He explores his past, marked by fear, violence, and a fascination with nature and heroic figures. Through the construction of a bark canoe, he seeks to overcome his fears and reconnect with a sense of freedom and identity.

Biography
Patrick Hivon is undeniably an immensely talented, brilliant actor who has proven his versatility on stage as well as on the small and big screens. He has had the privilege of working with great directors including Serge Denoncourt, with whom he has collaborated on several occasions, notably for Un tramway nommé Désir and La nuit où Laurier Gaudreault s’est réveillé.
On the small screen, Patrick Hivon has taken part in several successful series, including L’Échappée, Faits divers, Dans l’œil du cyclone, La nuit où Laurier Gaudreault s’est réveillé (based on the play of the same name), as well as C’est comme ça que je t’aime and Le retour d’Anna Brodeur. He also plays the lead role in the series Détective Surprenant.
Filmgoers have been able to appreciate his talent in the feature films À l’origine d’un cri, directed by Robin Aubert, Nous sommes Gold by Éric Godin, La femme de mon frère, as well as Babysitter by Monia Chokri and most recently in Amour Apocalypse by Anne Émond, for which he won the award for Best Actor at the 2025 Gala Québec Cinéma. He will also be in the cast of the film Bénévolat, which will be released in 2027.
An inspired actress and author, Christine Beaulieu has been wowing us with her versatility since 2003. She has participated in more than twenty plays, including Top Girls at Espace Go in the winter of 2026. In 2015, she wrote her first dramaturgical text, J’aime Hydro, for which she won the Michel-Tremblay award. Since 2021, she has been presenting her creation Les saumons de la Mitis throughout Quebec.
In cinema, she earned two nominations (Canadian Screen Awards and Gala du cinéma québécois) for her role as Roxane in Le Mirage by Ricardo Trogi and Louis Morissette. She was also seen in the title role of Nouveau-Québec by Sarah Fortin, then earned an Iris nomination for her role as Anne-Marie Boisvert in Norbourg by Maxime Giroux. She also holds significant roles in Les Tricheurs by Louis Godbout, 23 décembre by Myriam Bouchard, Simple comme Sylvain by Monia Chokri, Frontières by Guy Édoin, as well as La fonte des glaces, which earned her a Canadian Screen Award nomination in 2025. She won the Bayard for Best Performance at the Namur FIFF for her performance in the short film Un jour de fête (2020).
On television, she has distinguished herself in the series Les Simone and Cerebrum. She won a Gémeaux award for her role as Josiane in Lâcher prise (2020). Since February 2021, she has been at the heart of L’Oeil du Cyclone on Radio-Canada with her role as Isabelle Gagnon, which earned her two Gémeaux awards (2021 and 2023) for Best Female Lead: Comedy. She is also part of the cast of the highly anticipated series Bon Cop Bad Cop in the role of Kim Dupuis.
A gifted and committed artist, Christine Beaulieu has found her way in the Quebec cultural scene. Today, she is considered one of the important figures of the contemporary Quebec artistic community.
