Join us for an evening where words blossom on the plate and plants become story and feast. This unique cocktail reception, at the crossroads of literature, nature, and culinary arts, will celebrate the book “Nos fleurs” by Anaïs Barbeau-Lavalette, in her presence.

Throughout the evening, actress Catherine De Léan will lend her voice to selected passages from the book, in dialogue with Anaïs, in a two-voice reading filled with sensitivity. The words will resonate with the rhythm of the bites, created with finesse and imagination by chef Éric Gendron (Espace Old Mill), each inspired by a plant evoked in the story.

A musical and sound ambiance harmonized with each flower featured during the meal with Ariane Plante and Scott Thomson

A wild and poetic menu, nourished by an intergenerational harvest of local plants, gathered with children from the community, will enrich this sensory and symbolic experience.

“Fleurs” is a celebration of life, a tribute to the deep connections between humans and plants, a moment of sharing in the heart of summer.

You will also be invited to participate in a silent auction for a work by Sara A. Tremblay, specially offered for the occasion. A piece where the artist’s sensitivity resonates with the festival’s theme.

Funds raised during this evening will directly support the artistic and ecological mission of the organization D’Arts et de rêves.

Ticket price: $200.
* For each ticket purchased, an official tax receipt valued at $150 will be issued to you.
