Biography
Marianne Lavoie, who holds a master’s degree in environmental design with a specialization in the regenerative approach at the Université
du Québec à Montréal and is Director of Écoscéno’s eco-design hub, aims to develop and promote a bold vision to accelerate the socio-ecological transition, as she advocates for solutions that drive systemic change, focusing on generating abundance and long-term positive impacts rather than slowing negative impacts.
Approach
Starting with an introduction covering the origins of the regenerative approach, its key principles and various application examples, this training will be followed by a hands-on workshop to get started with regenerative practice. Tailor-made exercises will be offered, adapted to the context of Espace DesPrés, for a concrete and inspiring deep dive. A 2-hour introduction will be done asynchronously to become familiar with the concepts of eco-design, socio-ecological transitions and implementation strategies. The goal is to inspire and spark a flame in artists!
